we have studios that are mostly barrier-free accessible, unfortunately our apartments are not barrier-free. However, we try to make barrier-free and family-friendly residences possible by (separate) arrangement.

https://www.pact-zollverein.de/en/artists-centre/residencies The year-round residency programme for the development of artistic projects and productions, in which artists from all over the world have participated since 2002, is the 'heartbeat' of the daily work at PACT Zollverein. In connection with the work areas of stage, platform and urban space, a fruitful exchange of theoretical and practical work is created in the Artists’ House. A final presentation is not a requirement and a residency will not include a public showing, the focus is on the processuality of artistic work.

The design of the residency is free: In their own studio they discuss, develop and rehearse autonomously; if required, the complete infrastructure of PACT (rehearsal rooms, kitchen, WLAN, etc.) is available to the residents at any time. Residences are awarded twice a year by an international jury. The duration is between 3 - 6 weeks.
Local accommodation in a guest apartment (max. 4 people) Accommodation for accompanying person can be provided. Provision of technical equipment (by arrangement and subject to availability) Technical support (according to agreement and availability)
Studio space (between 69 and 173 sqm)
A residency project will not have a public showing, but PACT welcomes the readiness of others to share their own work processes in open and freely definable forms.
