Scholarships for 4 artists (12 month, 1.750 Euro/month) and scholarships for 4 curators (6 month, 1.500 Euro/month) (two curators related to NRW, two curators related to CH, funded by Pro Helvetia, the Swiss Arts Council)
During the scholarship period, all fellows live and work together (rent free) in a building specially adapted and renewed for this purpose on the grounds of Hoppengarten, a new cultural quarter close to the city center. The fellowship is primarily spent at the place of residence in Münster. Participation in the Residence NRW⁺ programme is a prerequisite for taking up the fellowship. Basic knowledge of the German language would be beneficial.
Residence NRW⁺ is associated with the Kunsthalle Münster and is organised and supervised by its team. The programme is based on residency scholarships and changing collaborations with museums, Kunsthallen and Kunstvereine throughout North Rhine-Westphalia. The programme is supported by the Ministry of Culture and Science of the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia, by Kunststiftung NRW and by Pro Helvetia, the Swiss Arts Council.

Altersbeschränkung: Criteria are age (max. 40 years for artists, 35 for curators) OR the completion of the last artistic training pro-gramme. For scholarship holders who are older than 40 when they start the schol-arship on 1 October 2025, the last artistic training must not have been completed more than five years ago.
