The Alliance for Socially Engaged Arts is a philanthropic collaboration of leading European foundations—has been promoting socially engaged art in Europe since 2025. Scholarships are advertised, accompanied by a research project and advocacy work.
The research project has been commissioned, with the aim of:
- Understanding the sector’s challenges and needs
- Boosting visibility within and beyond the arts
- Shaping future support and policies.
The survey, which has now been published, is aimed at organizations and initiatives in this field in order to assess and reflect the diversity and impact of socially engaged art in Europe.
