M.A. Marleau is an artist and cultural worker with a curatorial and editorial practice. Marleau holds a Studio Art bachelor’s degree with honours from Concordia University (Tiohtià:ke/Montreal) with inter-university study terms at École multidisciplinaire de l’image, UQO (Tenàgàdino/Gatineau) and École Supérieure de Mode, ESG UQAM (Tiohtià:ke/Montreal). Marleau is a member of the Board of Directors of Résidence Celine Bureau (Tiohtià:ke/Montreal). M.A. Marleau presents works and takes part in residencies and collaborative projects under several pseudonyms and various roles.
Marleau joined AXENÉO7, an artist-run centre, in 2019, and was named to its programming committee in 2021. AXENÉO7 is located on unceded territories of the Omàmìwininì Anishinàbeg Aki (the ancestral territory of the Algonquin people).
