Since the UK's departure from the Customs Union and the Single Market on 1 January 2021, mobility between the UK and the EU has changed fundamentally. The exchange of goods, the transport of artworks and instruments, and the framework conditions for professional artists look very different today.

Since there has been little or no data on the proportion of projects moving between the UK and Germany since Brexit, we are asking for your help in building up an initial database. A short survey is intended to collect initial comparative data on the extent to which the project density or the density of artistic projects has changed before and after Brexit.

We would be very grateful if you would take a short time to answer our survey. The survey will take 5-10 mins of your time and is anonymous.

You can find the survey here.

We are also very interested in hearing about your experiences working with British artists in the context of Brexit. For this, you can leave us a contact in the questionnaire or send us an email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
