Rumpenheimer Schlosspark is one of the early German landscape gardens laid out in the style of English landscape gardens. In the theory of the English landscape garden, the paths have an important function: like an adventure trail, they open up the park to the walker in all its diversity.

KUNST.PARK RUMPENHEIM opens up the topographical features of the park, taking in the important visual relationships. In this sense, the art objects in the castle park take up the historical idea of visual axes and the guided walk experience and link it with modern works of art. The castle park will become an artistic adventure trail KUNST.PARK.

The association Kunst.Ort.Rumpenheim e.V. will award 10 exhibition spaces to artists in Rumpenheim Castle Park and support the exhibitors with € 150 each as a KUNST.PARK 2025 recognition prize. In addition, a sponsorship prize of € 250 will be awarded for a prize-winning and realized work of art in the traffic circle of the castle courtyard.
