Olga Robayo is a Colombian artist, curator and cultural producer. She holds a BA and a MFA from the National Art Academy in Oslo . Her art work has been presented in W139 in Amsterdam; Vigelandmuseet, UKS, Fotogalleriet and Museet for Samtidskunst in Oslo; Museu de Arte Moderna in São Paulo; Centro De Memoria, Paz y Reconciliación and Museo de Arte Contemporáneo in Bogotá, among others.
She is the founder and artistic director of the EL PARCHE Artist Residency, an artist-run space for experimental art practice. It is also a residency program for local and international artists aiming to diversify and strengthen the local art scene and providing a platform for emerging artists in Bogotá.
Olga Robayo is also the founder and artistic director of the International Queer Arts and Film Festival KUIR BOGOTA, a collaborative art project that explores the relationships between culture, gender, sexuality and identity with the purpose to offer a safe space for the local queer community and to open public sensibilities in the social context of Colombia.
