On 16 May 2024 from 4 to 6 pm, a workshop will take place in the BBK Bundesverband series "ProTalks - Online Workshops for Artists" on the topic of "Internationalization" with Christine Heemsoth and Thomas Weis from the IGBK.

Planning an artistic project, a residency or an exhibition abroad, helping artists from countries in crisis in Germany - what support do artists and players in the art field receive in their international work?

Our office will provide an insight into various approaches and available tools along the focal points of the IGBK's work: Representation of interests, networking of European artists' associations and service institutions, information offers on residencies and funding opportunities as well as advice on administrative issues such as customs, income tax or entry and work permits. These and other topics will be presented and there will be room for questions and discussion.
