opposes all forms of discrimination, racism, anti-Semitism, Islamophobia, sexism, homophobia and transphobia, ableism, and ageism, as well as all acts of violence and forms of hatred and hate speech.
As an international network for the visual arts, the values of IGBK inevitably entail a commitment to upholding human rights and the right of every individual to personal liberty, freedom of expression, and freedom of religion in all regions of the world, with due respect for the freedoms of others.
Human rights violations and war crimes affect us all. The EU and its member states have a duty to take action against violence, oppression, and incitement to hatred within and outside Europe and to strongly advocate for compliance with international law
We regard tolerance, mutual respect, and cultural diversity as the foundation of an open and democratic society, to which we are firmly committed. Artistic freedom is part of this.
