Neu am See

The non-profit cultural association "Neu am See e.V." is an initiative of craftsmen and architects, artists and scientists, employees and entrepreneurs, friends and families. Their vision is to create an ecologically valuable place of encounter, networking and interdisciplinary exchange where culture, education, nature conservation, sport and tolerance can flourish.

Since 2018, international artists have been provided with a space at the lake to pursue their artistic activities for a certain period of time in the concentration and tranquillity of the secluded location.
The activity can include work on specific works or projects, but can also serve personal professional development in decisive phases.
The term "artist" is very broadly defined: Artists from all disciplines can apply, as well as all other people with projects that meet our statutory objectives (see below).

The duration should be between one and seven months. Due to weather and lack of space, the programme is limited to the summer months. Currently, the artist is provided with a camping vehicle and, if necessary, another room to work in.
