Internationale Gesellschaft der Bildenden Künste, touring artists and Arts Infopoint UK want to bring the visual arts scenes in Germany and the UK together! If you are an artist, gallerist, visual arts organisation, or even from another of the cultural sectors, come along to our online event as we explore the visual arts in Germany and the UK.
When: 17th of April 2023 from 5:00-6:30pm CET
Where: Online via Zoom
During the session, key organisations will present the current funding and support structures for the visual arts in Germany and across all 4 nations of the UK. It will also be an important opportunity for you to meet each other and network during the session through breakout rooms, and an opportunity to ask the presenters questions.
Presenting from the UK will be:
- Visual arts officers from Arts Council of England, Arts Council of Northern Ireland, Arts Council of Wales and international officer from Creative Scotland
- UK-wide visual arts networks including CVAN (Contemporary Visual Arts Network)
Presenting from Germany will be:
- Daniel Lindenblatt and colleagues from touring artists and Internationalen Gesellschaft der Bildenden Künste
The event is free of charge and will be held in English.
