A group exhibition abroad, sending a work to a buyer – whenever art is taken or sent across the border of the EU customs territory, a number of administrative questions arise regarding import and export formalities.
This session in the UPDATE series provides an overview of import/export procedures and temporary use abroad, as well as contact points for queries relating to customs and transport. There will also be an opportunity to share experiences with transporters, shipping companies or customs authorities, etc.
About the speaker
Christine Heemsoth works for the IGBK and is an editor for touring artists. She studied cultural studies and theater studies at the University of Leipzig and has been active in the field of fine arts for more than 20 years, with a focus on international exchange.
The event will be held in German.
