Friday, 6 November 2026 at Allianzforum in Berlin | Stiftung Zukunft Berlin

Stiftung Zukunft Berlin and its civil society initiative A Soul for Europe, together with the European Festivals Association and the Evangelische Akademie zu Berlin, warmly invite to the Berlin Conference 2026.

Please register for the conference here (until 29 October, 12 pm)

Under the title "Europe: The Art of Belonging", the conference will address central questions for the future of Europe: What holds our societies together beyond institutions and treaties? In times of growing polarisation, social alienation and democratic uncertainty, the sense of belonging comes into focus: Who feels heard and able to participate? How can a shared European "we" emerge? And how can arts and culture contribute to this?

The conference will focus on cities, municipalities, civil society, arts and culture as spaces where Europe becomes tangible: in everyday life, in exchange, in conflict, in solidarity and in collective action.

On this day, the touring artists team will present their work providing information and advice for internationally mobile artists and creatives coming to and leaving Germany, and participants will have the opportunity to ask questions.

You can find the program of the conference here.
