Democracy, it sounds big. But what happens when it starts to crumble in the small things?
In daily life, in structures, in your city, in your body? We are looking for artistic projects that explore the many faces of democracy – freedom and participation, social peripheries, personal and structural limitations, threatened spaces, and new forms of togetherness. The residency offers artists from the fields of music, visual and performing arts, literature, and interdisciplinary practices the opportunity to develop and publicly present a project over the course of three months at Fat Cat Munich.
