CreArt Valladolid opens a new call to invite an artist from the CreArt Network to present an exhibition project that will be part of the 13th edition CreaVA 26, to be held between 24 April and 30 May 2026.

Different exhibition proposals of painting, installation, photography, video, illustration, or murals are presented every year in diverse spaces throughout the city, such as shops, bars, creative incubators, cinemas, schools, public spaces, etc. Every edition counts on the participation of around 20 artists and exhibition spaces along the city, and guided tours are organised for the opening.

The CreaVA festival is coordinated within the frame of open events for the celebration of the EU Month of Creativity in May across the CreArt Network and has the support of the European Commission through Creative Europe.

This call is for artists under 40 working in the field of illustration, photography or new media. It is open to artists born or residing in one of the CreArt partner cities: Kaunas, Liepaja, Skopje, Aveiro, Valladolid, Lublin, Venice, Clermont-Ferrand, Rouen, Regensburg, České Budějovice, Oulu. Also members of HDLU (Croatian Association of Visual Artists), and Ukrainian artists via the collaboration with Lviv Artistic Council ‘Dialogue’.

Support:
- Fee of 500 EUR for the participation in the exhibition
- Travel costs and accommodation to install the exhibition and be present in the opening (20–26 April)
- Production costs (the works will be print and framed in Valladolid, after the exhibition, the works will be shipped without frame)
