Applications are open: Indiecon International Travel Grant

Thanks to the generous support of our sponsors and the City of Hamburg, we are able to offer six International Travel Grants for independent publishers, including the opportunity to exhibit and speak at Indiecon 2026.

Call for Applications

Applications are open to international independent publishers of all trades, including but not limited to publishing houses and collectives, magazine makers, zinesters, book artists as well as website, newsletter or podcast creators.

We especially encourage projects and publications that advocate for political, cultural and societal change or promote deeper insights into topics that might otherwise be overlooked. We are also looking for independent enterprises that explore alternative economic models for sustaining their publishing practice (e.g. collectives, cooperatives or community-driven initiatives).

Grantees will receive a travel stipend and free fair admission. The application deadline is February 28. Please see the application form for full details.
