Mariam Natroshvili (1987) is an artist based in Tbilisi, Georgia. Since 2011 Mariam is working in collaboration with artist and architect Detu Jincharadze. In their artistic projects, they bring written or spoken words to the different places in the cities. A key element of their art practice is a text, written "off the page". Since 2020 Mariam and Detu started to work on video game based projects: organising exhibitions in video games and creating cgi videos. Today their main medium is interactive 3d cgi installations, video and text. The duo are founders of the museum on the move – Museum of Contemporary Art Tbilisi; Festival of words – that involves all kinds of text-related formats and is exploring different ways for sharing various texts. Recently they have co-founded Tbilisi Online Biennale, a series of digital interventions and exhibitions that emerges in various digital zones to place questions. Mariam Natroshvili is writing for various publications and recently started the tv show "Art circle" which is a discussion platform for contemporary art in Georgia.
